Materials Selection, Corrosion protection and Erosion Evaluation

• Z-Subsea philosophy for selection of materials for oil and gas assets is a full life cycle material selection approach as illustrated in the chart.
• Information gathered from concept selection study will be further developed in FEED and detailed design stages.
• Parameters related to material manufacturing (operational integrity) will be also selected and checked.
• Procedures for welding, coating, forging, heat treatment, Mechanical testing, NDT and final inspections will be reviewed on behalf of the client.
• Advanced analysis such as HISC analysis using FEA and to DNVGL-RP-F112 will be also performed for Super-Duplex forgings exposed to CP.
